Jensen failed constituents. The Waukesha Freeman (Waukesha, Wis.) Published Letter to the Editor. October 28, 2002. Republican Assembly Speaker Scott Jensen caught a break in August when the state Elections Board bumped his strongest Republican competition for the 98th District seat based on a complaint over one signature. City of Pewaukee Alderman David Mokros said the allegations were "not fair and accurate." Voters: Pay attention. "Limited government" Scott Jensen had no trouble racking up the highest amount of legal fees of any bureaucrat in the state. "Fiscal responsibility" Scott Jensen didn't even shudder to spend $85,000 of your hard-earned dollars on attorney fees, nor did he have trouble running scurrilous activities - digging up personal, private dirt and mudslinging at political opponents -- in his own office ... on your dime. During the last legislative session, Jensen was among the best positioned in the state to provide leadership, but he miserably failed the people of Wisconsin. He and his fellow spend-more politicos have failed to balance the budget, failed to clean up state corruption and even contributed more to the scandalous corruption. News flash to the citizens of the 98th Assembly District: Scott Jensen must be put out to pasture now, before another quarter of a million dollars is spent on his own shenanigans. Thank you, Scott Jensen, for contributing heavily to Wisconsin's political fall from grace. I hope to see your fall come Nov. 5. Aaron Biterman Brookfield Received via e-mail |
