IHS internships, scholarships, grants, and programs work toward this end. Intercollegiate Studies Institute: ISI works "to educate for liberty" — to identify the best and the brightest college students and to nurture in these future leaders the American ideal of ordered liberty. Through its integrated program of lectures, conferences, publications, and fellowships, the Institute annually works with hundreds of thousands of students and faculty from coast to coast. Liberal Network of Europe: LiNK is a network of liberals throughout Europe and beyond. LiNK works at the dissemination of liberal ideas. Hayek Society -- London School of Economics: The aim of this LSE-based student organization is to defend classical liberalism and free market economics. It is a society for the mutual exchange of ideas, and is named in honor of Nobel Laureate Friedrich August von Hayek, who lectured at the London School of Economics from 1931 until 1950. Libertarian Political Action Committee -- Students for Liberty: LPPA offers tips on student activism and organizing for liberty. Libertarian Rock: Although presently defunct, Libertarian Rock once helped and promoted activists who peacefully and legally fight back against unjust laws and harassment by politicians and government workers. National Youth Rights Association: NYRA is dedicated to defending the civil and human rights of young people through educating people about youth rights, working with public officials to devise fitting policy solutions to problems affecting young people and empowering young people to work on their own behalf. The Next Generation (United Kingdom): The Next Generation group serves as a meeting point for the next generation of leaders in business, academe, the professions, journalism and public policy. Raise Your Voice - Students Against the HEA Amendment: The HEA Amendment denies students financial aid if convicted of a drug offense. Raise Your Voice encourages students to do just that and speak out against the HEA Amendment. Reason on Campus: Despite Ayn Rand's popularity among young people, her ideas are often rejected or ignored at high schools and universities. Students Against the PATRIOT Act: Resources for students on campus fighting the anti-American provisions of the USA PATRIOT Act. Students for Academic Freedom: A clearing house and communications center for a national coalition of student organizations whose goal is to end the political abuse of the university and to restore integrity to the academic mission as a disinterested pursuit of knowledge. Students for Freedom Coalition: The Students For Freedom Coalition is an all-partisan group of individuals and organizations that are dedicated to protecting the civil liberties of students and youth across America. Their mission is to raise awareness among students and youth and promote action by providing support for self-organizing activities. Students for an Orwellian Society: The mission of SOS is to promote the vision of a society based upon the principles of Ingsoc, first articulated by George Orwell in his prophetic novel 1984. Students for the Second Amendment: SFSA educates about the right that is the guarantor of all the others -- the Second Amendment. Unfortunately, the group has folded. Students for Sensible Drug Policy: SSDP is committed to providing education on harms caused by the War on Drugs, working to involve youth in the political process, and promoting an open, honest, and rational discussion of alternative solutions to our nation's drug problems.
