Quotes from the interview: "In theory, the 6% Rule is to determine which candidates deserve money. We had candidates that weren’t very serious last year on the ballot, and I’ll give you an example. ... There was a Rastafarian guy (Aneb Jah Rasta Sensas) who kept insisting he was already the bleeping governor and had already passed important legislation. Well, if we’d have given that guy $200,000, how do we know he wouldn’t have went out and spent the money on ganja?" -- Rolf Lindgren. "I wouldn’t have a problem with a lot of public money in campaigns if the system was designed by apolitical scientists, mathematicians and operations research majors [chuckle]. The problem is, our system is being designed by Chuck Chvala, Scott Jensen, and Steve Foti!" -- Rolf Lindgren "It's amazing how when you bring up the 6% Rule all the watchdogs who have been clamoring for campaign finance reform suddenly catch laryngitis." -- Rolf Lindgren "I think we've;ve got enough campaign finance reform right now." -- Rolf Lindgren December 28, 2002 Wisconsin Public Radio.
